{"id":8193,"date":"2025-06-18T12:18:36","date_gmt":"2025-06-18T10:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/educaedtech.com\/?p=8193"},"modified":"2025-06-18T12:19:25","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T10:19:25","slug":"educa-edtech-group-promotes-womens-leadership-in-colombia-diploma-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/educaedtech.com\/en\/noticias\/educa-edtech-group-impulsa-el-liderazgo-femenino-en-colombia-diplomado\/","title":{"rendered":"EDUCA EDTECH Group boosts female leadership in Colombia with a diploma in gender focus\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>The educational group, together with the Mayor's Office of Jamund\u00ed (Colombia) and partners such as the European Union, Expertise France and the Spanish Cooperation, have celebrated the closing of the diploma course. <strong>\"Itinerant school on project formulation with a gender perspective\".<\/strong>designed to promote the transformation of territories through education.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The town of Jamund\u00ed, in Valle del Cauca (Colombia), has been the epicentre of the drive for gender education with the closing ceremony of the <strong>Diploma course \"Itinerant School in project formulation with a gender perspective\".<\/strong>an initiative of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EDUCA EDTECH Group<\/a> <\/strong>certified by the group itself and endorsed by the Mayor's Office of Jamund\u00ed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This commitment serves to consolidate local capacities and <strong>to make women's role as a driving force for social transformation more visible.<\/strong> It also had the institutional backing of the <strong>City Hall<\/strong> and the accompaniment of key national and international actors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inaugural event, chaired by the mayoress <strong>Paola Castillo<\/strong>, gathered <strong>to more than thirty leaders <\/strong>of the municipality. Their active participation culminated in the presentation of projects that respond to critical needs in their communities: <strong>community gardens for food security<\/strong>, <strong>women-led solar energy systems<\/strong> y <strong>initiatives that make the work of carers visible and dignify their work<\/strong>. Always from a gender and social inclusion perspective.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">An international cooperation action focusing on gender and inclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also brought together <strong>Mauricio Jaramillo D\u00edaz<\/strong>Director of Operations of EDUCA EDTECH Group, and <strong>Ingrid Tatiana Fuentes<\/strong>Director of Institutional Relations in Colombia. Both highlighted the importance of strengthening strategic alliances with organisations such as the European Union, Expertise France, the Ministry of Equality, the Spanish Cooperation and the Government of Valle del Cauca.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to these links, the diploma course could be designed on the basis of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.com\/en\/news\/educa-edtech-group-strengthens-its-presence-in-colombia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">international standards for cooperation and territorial adaptation<\/a><\/strong>The project is a global approach to serve local realities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout six face-to-face and virtual modules, participants deepened their knowledge of the cycle of <strong>gender-sensitive projects<\/strong>They also had access to the following tools: participatory diagnosis, formulation of objectives sensitive to women's context, planning of activities with inclusive criteria and social impact assessment. In addition, they had access to <strong>hands-on workshops<\/strong> The project has also helped them to develop prototypes of sustainable community gardens and self-managed solar energy schemes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"At EDUCA EDTECH Group we reaffirm our commitment to education that transforms realities, promotes female leadership and generates tangible impact in communities. We are proud to work hand in hand with mayors' and governors' offices that believe in education as a driver of social change,\" said Mauricio Jaramillo D\u00edaz during his speech. His words resonated with the spirit of the diploma course, which seeks to turn knowledge into a tool for equal opportunities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The diploma course forms part of the strategy of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.com\/en\/news\/educa-edtech-group-opens-new-offices-in-mexico-and-colombia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">international cooperation and territorial development<\/a> <\/strong>from <strong>EDUCA EDTECH Group<\/strong>which prioritises the gender approach as an essential pillar for the design of inclusive and sustainable public policies. This initiative is aligned with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.com\/en\/news\/educa-edtech-group-tangible-commitment-to-the-ods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sustainable Development Goals<\/a><\/strong>especially with regard to women's empowerment and the reduction of inequalities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the certification awarded at the closing ceremony, the graduates not only obtained academic recognition, but also gained access to a network of mentors, sources of funding and opportunities for exchange with other communities in the country. In this way, <strong>the educational group reinforces its role as a catalyst for social entrepreneurship<\/strong>consolidating a model of online and face-to-face training oriented towards real
