Education must be flexible, personalised and results-oriented to accompany this transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"AI agents are already capable of doing the work of thousands of people and making strategic decisions for companies on their own. It is up to us to turn them into enemies or allies,\" reflected Charlotte Piwinski, Head of Growth at Entropia.ai, during her participation in the event \"Leap into the Future: Career Success in the Age of AI\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This meeting, held in the Grand Fiesta Americana Chapultepec and organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/udavinci.edu.mx\/\">Da Vinci University (UDAVINCI),<\/a> brought together more than 150 attendees in person and 300 connected via streaming from countries such as Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Report on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/publications\/the-future-of-jobs-report-2025\/\">the World Economic Forum's Future of Employment 2025<\/a>22% of jobs will be affected by technological disruption by 2030, with the creation of 170 million new jobs and the disappearance of another 92 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gerardo Hern\u00e1ndez, journalist and LinkedIn TopVoice on human talent issues, warned: \"Mechanical jobs, with repetitive operations and not requiring critical thinking, will be the first to disappear, but others will also be created that we cannot even imagine today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, in contexts such as Mexico's - where workers face low wages and few holidays - implementing a culture of lifelong learning is a real challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fernando Osnaya, Country Manager of EDUCA EDTECH Group, stressed that \"higher education must understand this reality in Mexico and Latin America, transforming and adapting itself as a facilitator so that companies continue to grow and workers not only survive the disruption of AI, but also take advantage of it to achieve better jobs and well-being\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, education must respond to concrete challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Companies are finding it increasingly difficult to find talent aligned with their needs, facing high recruitment and turnover costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Many Mexican universities have not yet updated their academic programmes to keep pace with the market, leaving thousands of young people with degrees that are not very applicable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The new generations demand more flexible, personalised and forward-looking learning and working models.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Education with purpose: the five pillars<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fernando Osnaya identified five essential characteristics for an education aligned with the future of work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verifiable quality: recognised programmes, expert teachers and successful graduates in the labour market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI integration: to deliver personalised and adaptive learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibility: options that fit in with the schedule of students who are already working.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessibility: competitive prices to democratise education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Useful content: labour market oriented, with a focus on technology and social and emotional intelligence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"Companies today need employees with advanced technological capabilities, but also with more developed human skills because that is where the leaders who manage to overcome difficult times are formed,\" said Leticia P\u00e9rez, manager of Internal Communication at El Puerto de Liverpool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along these lines, Lyz Escalante, skills transformation consultant and LinkedIn TopVoice, added: \"You cannot create high-performing teams in any organisation if you don't proactively take care of their physical, emotional and mental health\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, Victor Manuel Cab, vice-rector of UDAVINCI in Mexico, summed up the spirit of the meeting with a key phrase: \"Success in the age of AI is not for those who know everything, but for those who are willing to learn all the time\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, Fernando Osnaya concluded optimistically: \"Although AI poses significant challenges, the benefits and opportunities it offers us can be infinite if we manage to
