EDUCA EDTECH Group brings together international talent at SIM 2026

  • Madrid International Week, organised by the EDUCA EDTECH Group, has brought together specialist training, knowledge-sharing and networking amongst professionals from different countries. The 2026 event culminated in the graduation of more than 250 students and the presentation of the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation’s Awards for Academic Excellence and Social Innovation.

Madrid has hosted a new edition of the Madrid International Week (SIM) of EDUCA EDTECH Group, an event that has transformed the virtual classroom connection into a face-to-face experience of learning and socialising. Over the course of a week, students, speakers and teams from the group’s institutions have shared knowledge, perspectives and professional experiences.

The programme has combined masterclasses, presentations and networking opportunities with a practical focus: to broaden participants’ strategic vision and equip them with the skills required by the global market. Training in project management and the development of leadership skills have formed part of this international programme.

Learning and connections beyond virtual classrooms

The SIM has provided participants with a forum to compare what they have learnt with other professionals and discuss market trends and to share the challenges they face in their respective sectors. The international nature of the meeting has facilitated this exchange between people from different professional backgrounds and work contexts.

The experience has also helped to strengthen the bonds between students, teachers and academic teams. The conversations and shared activities have provided a face-to-face dimension to a community that usually interacts through online learning.

This combination reflects the EDUCA EDTECH Group’s commitment to complementing the flexibility of digital learning with events that facilitate direct contact and the building professional relationships.

A graduation ceremony that recognises the hard work of every student

The graduation ceremony brought together more than 250 students from the group’s business schools, from more than 15 countries in Latin America. The ceremony provided an opportunity to celebrate their academic journey alongside family members, fellow students and lecturers, and to recognise the dedication required to balance their studies with other responsibilities.

Adrián Betancourt, CRO of EDUCA EDTECH Group, highlighted the stories of hard work, work-life balance and perseverance that characterise each graduate when reflecting on the experience.

«Behind every graduation ceremony lies much more than just a diploma: there are stories of overcoming adversity, dreams come true and new opportunities that are only just beginning,» said Betancourt.

The executive also emphasised the value of face-to-face meetings in strengthening the educational community.

«These spaces allow us to connect, find inspiration, build a sense of community and strengthen the bonds that make a truly transformative educational experience possible,» he said.

The EDUCA EDTECH Foundation recognises academic excellence

The ceremony also included the presentation of the Awards for Academic Excellence and Social Innovation from the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation, which raised the profile of the participants’ work and careers.

Viridiana López, CHRO of the EDUCA EDTECH Group and director of the Foundation, took part in the awards ceremony with a reflection in which she emphasised the importance of excellence in approaching challenges, persevering in the face of difficulties and making the most of learning opportunities.

«Excellence is not a place that only a few reach. It is a way of being in the world,» said Viridiana.

The participants’ stories brought that idea to life and highlighted the personal commitment behind every academic achievement.

With this edition of SIM, the EDUCA EDTECH Group is reinforcing its commitment to events and talks to complement online learning. This is an approach the group will continue to promote, so that the course also serves as a forum for meeting other professionals, sharing experiences and building relationships that will continue after graduation.
