What is AI Granada Research & Innovation and why does it matter?
AI Granada Research & Innovation has consolidated a remarkable growth in 2025: it has approved a budget of 1.3 millionwhich is a increase of 240% with respect to the previous year, with a focus on specialised training, applied research, talent and transfer to the productive fabric. (
In addition, the ecosystem enters a key stage with the launch in 2026 of the EDIH Air Andalusiaa digital innovation hub with European funding that will provide services to companies worth more than five million euros.
For EDUCA EDTECH Group, joining forces with such an environment is, above all, an opportunity to multiply impact: more partnerships, more applied projects and more capacity to bring AI closer to those who need it most.
Scientific leadership leading the way
The ecosystem is also strengthening its scientific structure with the appointment of Jesus Chamorro (professor at the University of Granada) as well as scientific director.
