The agreement was made official during a historic visit to EDUCA's headquarters in Bogotá by the mayor of Guachené, Wilinton Minaaccompanied by the Secretary of Education, Anyela Cajiao

This meeting, led by Javier BohórquezDirector of EDUCA EdTech Group LATAM, and Mauricio JaramilloThe project represents a concrete opportunity to bring educational opportunities to a region historically neglected by public policies, especially in terms of access to higher education and training for employment.

Guachené is a young, dynamic municipality, renowned for its cultural richness and for being the birthplace of outstanding Colombian sportsmen and women. However, it faces major challenges: according to DANE data, only 14.8% of the NARP (black, Afro-Colombian, Raizal and Palenquero) population has access to university programmes, compared to the national average of 18.8%. This gap is further exacerbated at the postgraduate level.

In order to address this situation, EDUCA EDTECH Group will provide grants up to 80% for undergraduate, master's and doctoral programmes aimed at the citizens of Guachené, as a real tool for the transformation of the territory. This action is part of the educational methodology LXP (Learning Experience Platform) The group's new learning platform, which combines artificial intelligence, predictive modelling and up-to-date content to offer a personalised, inclusive and accessible learning experience.

"At EDUCA we firmly believe that education is the main transforming force in the world. This alliance with Guachené allows us to materialise this commitment in a territory full of talent and human potential", said Javier Bohórquez, during the event.
