The technological-educational group participated on 19 March in one of the sessions of Google Cloud Engage Madrid 2026, where it shared with Devoteam and Google Cloud its evolution towards a Data Driven model supported by Big Query, Lookery a scalable cloud architecture.
EDUCA EDTECH Group has participated in the Google Cloud Engage Madrid, the meeting promoted by Google Cloud with the collaboration of Devoteam as a business partner, held at the Google offices in Torre Picasso, Madrid. The event brought together technology managers, executives and specialists from different companies around three main themes: cloud security, data-driven decision making and generative artificial intelligence.
Within this agenda, EDUCA EDTECH Group was at the centre of the session. “Data Driven Company: Turn your Data into Smart Decisions”.”. The group's use case showed how to build a modern data cloud on Google Cloud to eliminate silos, leverage Big Query and turn data into predictive insights with real business value.
A use case to explain how an EdTech scales up
The participation of EDUCA EDTECH Group at Google Cloud Engage Madrid was not just another institutional presence. It was the presentation of a real case of technological transformation at a time when many companies are still asking themselves the same question: how to move from scattered data to intelligent decision making.
The following spoke on behalf of the group Tomás Torres González,TechOfficer; Daniel Cabrera Armenteros, CISO; and Chema Navarro Gómez, CIO. They were joined by Carlos Avendaño Palacios, DataEngineer- Lead Consultant at Devoteam; Belén Torres Hontanilla, from Devoteam; and Yago Vizoso, Enterprise Field Sales Representative at Google Cloud..
“The event allowed us to identify the sector's interest in the technological milestones achieved in recent years. It was also an opportunity to exchange impressions with other companies and to agree on a key idea: in Cloud and Data projects, the most important thing is to correctly define the problem before incorporating any technological layer”.”
— Chema Navarro, CIO of EDUCA EDTECH Group.
During the session, the team explained how EDUCA EDTECH Group has consolidated a modern data cloud on Google Cloud with four pillars: centralisation of information in Big Query to achieve a 360º vision of the organisation, scalability to accompany business growth, a server less architecture with a single source of truth and a clear commitment to operational efficiency through automation and low maintenance.

From an on-premise environment to a growth-ready infrastructure
One of the clearest insights from the speech was that the leap to Google Cloud responded to a specific business need. The turning point came during the pandemic, when accelerated growth highlighted the limits of an on-premise infrastructure.
From there, the group undertook a profound transformation that today allows it to deploy new training platforms in just 15 minutes, improve data governance and get to know its users better by working with tools such as Big Query y Looker. The logic that summarised this evolution was straightforward: to turn data into an objective basis for better decisions.
This approach also connects with the group's own positioning as a technological ecosystem specialising in online training, with more than 20 years of experience, a methodology developed over two decades and a model that combines its own platform, artificial intelligence and human support.
Educational technology with real impact
The presence of EDUCA EDTECH Group at Google Cloud Engage Madrid reinforces its role within the Spanish ecosystem as a player capable of moving the conversation about cloud, data and AI to a tangible terrain: that of online education, personalisation of the experience and technological scalability.
“Google Cloud Engage Madrid 2026 has been an intense, practical and very valuable day for our team. At EDUCA EDTECH Group we understand that innovation should not remain at a theoretical level, but should become execution, learning and continuous improvement. Therefore, having participated in this meeting together with Devoteam and Google Cloud has been, besides being a source of pride, an opportunity to continue building from a shared vision”.”
— Daniel Cabrera, CISO of EDUCA EDTECH Group
It was not just about showcasing infrastructure. It was about demonstrating how an organisation in the education sector can turn technology into operational criteria, improve its responsiveness and better prepare for growth. In an event focused on real execution, the group brought just that: a concrete experience, shared from the inside, of how a data-driven strategy can sustain a long-term transformation.
