EDUCA EDTECH Group has participated in the inauguration of the new CTA headquarters in Granada, a meeting that reinforces the role of the city as a strategic enclave for innovation, knowledge transfer and collaboration between companies, universities and institutions.
The event, organised by Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA), The event brought together institutional, business and academic representatives with the aim of promoting new avenues of cooperation in R&D&I, technology and the economic development of the region.
Representing EDUCA EDTECH Group, Pablo Ybarra, B2B director of the group, participated in the round table “Granada as a strategic node of innovation and knowledge transfer: real experiences of collaboration and growth”.”, The project is being implemented by the European Commission, together with representatives of other key corporations in the territory.
During his speech, Ybarra focused on one of the great challenges facing organisations today: the need to respond with agility to a rapidly changing competitive environment. In this context, he defended the role of training as an indispensable lever so that companies, professionals and institutions can adapt, grow and generate impact.
“Today, we cannot be left behind. We have been working for years on the intersection between talent, training and innovation. The speed at which the competitive environment is moving does not allow us to wait: we have to act and we have to do it with training as a basis,” said Pablo Ybarra.
The presence of EDUCA EDTECH Group at this meeting reinforces its commitment to educational innovation and the development of training solutions capable of responding to the new needs of the labour market. From Granada, the group has consolidated a model based on technology, online training, artificial intelligence and the connection between knowledge and employability.
Grenada, a territory with a real capacity for attraction
One of the main themes of the conference was the role of Granada as a strategic city for innovation. Its university fabric, its scientific base, its business dynamism and its capacity to attract talent make it a key space for the development of collaborative projects.
In this sense, Pablo Ybarra vindicated EDUCA EDTECH Group's decision to continue growing from Granada not only as a matter of origin, but also as a conscious commitment to the potential of the city.
“We were born in Granada. But if we are still here, it is not because of nostalgia, it is because Granada has a real capacity for attraction. There are management profiles that are betting on the city, something is happening and it is noticeable. That is exactly what an innovation ecosystem needs to consolidate itself,” he said.
The inauguration of CTA's new headquarters in Granada responds precisely to this desire to be closer to companies, institutions and agents of the R&D&I system in the province, facilitating collaboration, the development of innovative projects and access to advanced innovation support services.
For EDUCA EDTECH Group, these types of spaces are fundamental to continue promoting alliances that connect the knowledge generated in the university environment with the real needs of companies, professionals and citizens.
Training, innovation and real impact on people
During the round table, EDUCA EDTECH Group also highlighted the importance of addressing the digital training gap as one of the great challenges of the present. In a context marked by technological transformation, artificial intelligence and the constant evolution of professional profiles, training becomes an essential tool to prevent people and organisations from being left behind.
Pablo Ybarra furthermore underlined the value of the collaboration with CTA and with the University of Granada as part of the group's ongoing work on innovation, capacity building and knowledge transfer.
“We have worked closely with the CTA and the university. We have experienced first-hand what the digital skills gap means. The environment is very competitive and we cannot wait. But also, through our foundation, we provide scholarships and work to close these gaps and bring training closer to citizens. Because innovation has to have a real impact on people”, he explained.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of CTA, Granada City Council and the University of Granada. With its participation in this event, EDUCA EDTECH Group reinforces its position as an active agent within the Andalusian innovative ecosystem and consolidates its commitment to Granada as a territory of talent, knowledge, technology and future.
