- EDUCA EDTECH Group is part of the UGR Advisory Council of Companies and Institutions, a space promoted by the University of Granada to strengthen the connection between university, companies, institutions and territory. Viridiana López, HR Director of the group, represented the company at the constitutive session held on 30 April.
EDUCA EDTECH Group has participated in the constitution of the UGR Advisory Council of Companies and Institutions, a collaborative space promoted and coordinated by the Vice-Rectorate for Social Innovation, Employability and Entrepreneurship of the University of Granada.
The session, held on 30 April, brought together representatives of public institutions, business organisations, companies and entities from different sectors with a common objective: to strengthen the link between the University of Granada and the socio-economic fabric of its surroundings.
EDUCA EDTECH Group was represented by Viridiana Lopez, Group HR Manager, whose participation is directly linked to one of the strategic lines of the Council: to analyse the real needs of the labour market, identify the most in-demand professional profiles and contribute to improving the employability of university students.
A space for listening between university and business
The UGR Advisory Board of Companies and Institutions was created as a permanent instrument for collaboration, active listening and shared foresight. Its aim is to consolidate a stable space for dialogue between the University of Granada and its strategic partners in the business and institutional world.
Among its objectives are the diagnosis of the labour market, the definition of graduate profiles and competences, the improvement of training programmes, the strengthening of the internship offer and the identification of good practices in professional insertion and talent management.
In addition, the Council seeks to open up new opportunities in applied research, knowledge transfer, innovation and territorial impact, connecting the academic and research capacities of the University with the real needs of companies, institutions and society.

The Council brings together representatives from the public sector, representative bodies, companies and organisations in areas such as technology, finance, agri-food, hospitality, health, culture, communication, energy, education and the third sector.
The session was also attended by representatives of the main institutions of the territory, including the director of the Andalusian Institute of Public Administration, José Loaiza; the delegate of the Government of Andalusia in Granada, Antonio Granados; the president of the Confederation of Businessmen of Granada and the Chamber of Commerce, Gerardo Cuerva; as well as representatives of the City Council of Granada, through the councillor Ana Agudo, and the Provincial Council of Granada.
With its participation in this Council, EDUCA EDTECH Group reinforces its role as an agent linked to the development of talent, educational innovation and employability from Granada, contributing to the necessary dialogue between universities, companies and institutions to anticipate the professional challenges of the present and the future.
