Top Employers recognises EDUCA EDTECH Group’s talent management

  • The Top Employers Institute has selected EDUCA EDTECH Group as an international success story (Client Impact Story) due to the impact of its human resources strategy on business growth. The educational technology group has reduced its recruitment times by 31% and fills 90% of its leadership roles through internal promotion, thereby consolidating a talent management model tailored to its international expansion.

Talent management has become a key factor in business growth, particularly when companies operate in different markets. This is reflected in the latest Top Employers Institute’s recognition of EDUCA EDTECH Group, selected as Client Impact Story, a success story that examines how best practice in human resources has contributed to the company’s business development and internationalisation.

The award highlights the development of the educational technology group, headquartered in Granada, which has seen its turnover grow by almost 300% between 2022 and 2025. During this period, EDUCA EDTECH Group has expanded its international presence and has grown from 100 staff members to a team of around 900 people.

This transformation has required us to adapt our recruitment, onboarding and professional development processes to an increasingly diverse organisation, whilst maintaining a shared corporate culture.

The 90% leadership positions are filled internally

One of the key findings highlighted by the Top Employers Institute is the EDUCA EDTECH Group’s commitment to the professional development of its teams. Currently, 90% of leadership posts are filled through internal promotion, a policy that enables the organisation to capitalise on the expertise of the professionals who are already part of it.

In addition to this figure, 75% of the workforce are on permanent contracts, reflecting a strategy aimed at promoting job security and professional development within the group.

The improvements also extend to recruitment processes. EDUCA EDTECH Group has managed to reduce the average time taken to recruit by 31%, falling from 30 to 20.7 days. Furthermore, the satisfaction level amongst those responsible for recruitment stands at around 90%.

These findings are particularly significant for an organisation operating in Spain, the Netherlands, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and the United States, where the recruitment and retention of professionals must take account of different working and cultural contexts.

Four years of Top Employers certification

EDUCA EDTECH Group has been awarded certification by the Top Employers Institute for four consecutive years, since 2022. This process has enabled the company to assess its human resources policies, compare them with the practices of other certified organisations, and identify opportunities for improvement.

This collaboration has led to the creation of a common talent management framework, with shared procedures for recruitment, onboarding and professional development, which can be adapted to the specific characteristics of each market.

The work has also helped to strengthen the strategic role of the Human Resources department, which is involved in decisions regarding the organisation’s growth and expansion.

Viridiana López Rodríguez, Chief People Officer at EDUCA EDTECH Group, highlights this development in the success story published by the Top Employers Institute:

“Thanks to the Top Employers Institute, management has gone from viewing us as a support department and a cost centre to seeing us as a trusted strategic partner.»"

A corporate culture to support international growth

The growth of the EDUCA EDTECH Group has been accompanied by new business acquisitions, multicultural teams and different ways of working. Bringing these different realities together under a set of shared values has become a priority in order to maintain the organisation’s cohesion.

Our philosophy is based on the belief that talent management is not limited to filling vacancies; it also involves facilitating the integration of new staff, creating learning opportunities and ensuring that teams can evolve in line with the company’s needs.

The case study published by the Top Employers Institute highlights this development as one of the factors that have underpinned the expansion of the EDUCA EDTECH Group, whose activities combine online education, technological development and innovation to democratise access to knowledge.

Selection as Client Impact Story This represents further international backing for the group’s people strategy, which remains committed to nurturing in-house talent, training and a shared corporate culture as the foundations for tackling its upcoming growth challenges.
