EDUCA EDTECH Foundation presents its first Whitepaper in an event that unites technology, education and purpose.

  • The educational group, with more than 20 years of experience in Granada, held an institutional event that brought together authorities, companies and sector leaders to reflect on the future of education and employment.

EDUCA EDTECH Group and its EDUCA EDTECH Foundation held in Granada the official presentation of their first international White Paper, "The role of online education in job opportunities in Spain and Latin America".a pioneering study that analyses the impact of digital learning on employability and career development on both sides of the Atlantic.

The event, held at the EDUCA EDTECH Buildingwas attended by local authoritiesrepresentatives of educational and business organisations, and leaders of the digital ecosystem in Granada, where the group has been active for more than two decades. In addition, the streaming of this presentation was followed by hundreds of people on their social networks.

A shared vision for the education of the future

The event began with the participation of Rafael García ParradoCEO of EDUCA EDTECH Group; Viridiana LópezDirector of the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation; and Jaime MartinThe study's research, coordination and writing of the study, as well as the group's CMO.

During the presentation, key issues were addressed, such as the democratisation of access to educationthe artificial intelligence as an engine of changethe technology as a vehicle for rethinking learning environmentsthe adaptability of training content and the the role of companies as active agents in professional development.

In the words of Rafael García Parrado,

"This study is our group's contribution to a vital challenge for us: democratising access to education and ending social inequality.

For its part, Viridiana López highlighted the purpose of the Foundation, stating:

"Our role is to be a bridge: between research and action, between knowledge and opportunity. We believe that the future of employment is built by educating, and that educating with purpose is the fairest way to transform society".

Y Jaime Martin underlined the value of digital learning as a response to new working realities:

"We know that for many reasons, from geographical dispersion to flexibility, online training can respond to needs that face-to-face training may not be able to".

Humanism and technology: the learning duo of tomorrow

The meeting culminated in a round table in which the following participated Rafael García Parrado, Viridiana López, Jaime Martin, Pablo YbarraThe group's head of B2B, Lydia Martíncontent manager, and Angel Encinarresponsible for student experience.

The conversation revolved around the humanisation of training and how the educational technology can amplify the closeness, personalisation and impact of learning.

"Hyper-personalisation means putting the learner at the centre of learning. The key is to give them the key to their own educational process," he explained. Lydia Martín.

"Each corporation needs to train in its reality. We are no longer talking about a passive actor, but about companies that generate knowledge," he added. Pablo Ybarra.

"We must measure quantitatively and qualitatively how we influence the professional development of our students and how we transform lives through education," he concluded. Angel Encinar.

With this act, EDUCA EDTECH Foundation consolidates its role as a bridging research, innovation and social action, y Grenada reaffirms its position as epicentre of educational and technological thinking in the Spanish-speaking world.
