From 25 to 29 May, EDUCA EDTECH Group will hold EDUCA Selection Process, a free online week promoted by its Employment and Internships Department to help students and external people understand how selection processes work, what is assessed at each stage and how to prepare applications, interviews and tests with greater criteria.
There is a part of employment that rarely appears in the manuals: what happens when an application enters a selection process. Who filters a CV. What a company really looks for in an interview. How a technical test is interpreted. Or why an apparently correct answer may not be enough.
In order to answer these questions from a practical approach, EDUCA EDTECH Group will be holding from 25 to 29 May EDUCA Selection Process, The online week is designed to help you understand and prepare for real selection processes, from technical tests to common workplace assessments.
The initiative, promoted by the technological-educational group, will be free of charge and will be open to both students and non-registered people interested in improving their preparation for selection processes, including competitive examinations and other professional access routes.
From the professional profile to the actual selection
EDUCA Selection Process is situated at a key stage of professional development: the moment when a person has already worked on their profile, CV or LinkedIn presence, but needs to go a step further and prepare themselves to participate in selection processes with more confidence.
Unlike other initiatives that focus solely on training content, this week organises existing resources from the EDUCA ecosystem in an applied, decision-making oriented approach, with a focus on prior preparation and a real understanding of the evaluation phases.
“The aim of the EDUCA Selection Process is that students do not arrive at a selection process blindly. We want them to understand what is being measured, how each phase is interpreted and what they can do to face that moment with more criteria and confidence”, say the EDUCA EDTECH Group's Employment and Internships Department.
Three blocks to understand, evaluate and prepare
The programme is structured in three main blocks. The first, understanding the process, analyses how a selection process works from start to finish, what happens at each stage and what companies are really looking for in a candidate.
The second block, Evaluation in selection, focuses on the most common tests: psycho-technical tests, technical tests, dynamic tests and interviews. The aim is for participants not only to know the format of these tests, but also to understand which competencies, behaviours or answers are being assessed in each case.
The third block, Practical preparation, The book, which addresses how to prepare yourself before applying for an offer, how to build a competitive profile, how to optimise your CV and personal social networks, and how to approach interviews or assessment situations with a clearer strategy.
Resources applied to train real decisions
During the week, participants will be able to access the content through the group's Events page, with downloadable resources, applied practical exercises and materials organised by blocks.
Resources include PDF guides, an editable step-by-step template for preparing a selection process, a simulation of a psycho-technical test with automatic correction and immediate scoring, and an interactive simulation of a selection process with scenarios and feedback on each decision.
The proposal also incorporates contents related to interview preparation, the creation of a competitive CV, the optimisation of the LinkedIn profile and the activation of opportunities in the labour market.
An employability line with continuity
EDUCA Selection Process is part of the evolution of employability initiatives of EDUCA EDTECH Group, together with proposals such as EDUCA Talent Day, EDUCA CV Check Week, EDUCA Connect or EDUCA Career Workshop. All of them share the same vision: to connect training with professional reality and to offer useful tools so that each person can better orientate their next steps.
After this week, the group will continue this line of work with EDUCA Mentorship, the next online event scheduled for 24 and 25 June. This new initiative will allow to connect with professionals from different sectors to find out what the labour market is like, what companies are looking for and how careers are being built today.
With EDUCA Selection Process, EDUCA EDTECH Group reinforces its commitment to practical employability, accessible and connected to real situations. Because preparing for work does not start on the day of the interview: it starts much earlier, when you understand the process.
